"...Great points KJ. Herb Greenberg is well known as a hatchet job columnist who often conveniently overlooks the facts which might not support his point of view. Let's wait a few days and see what develops and then write Herbie and his editor, Dave Kansas, at TSC.com, a little note.
I'm sure that we will be seeing a lot more of these types of columns now that Ancor has gained visibility. Par for the course. I hope that Minnetonka is prepared to fight back, as this battle front is very visible to the retail shareholders..."

I would excersize caution about writing Herb G., unless of course you enjoy being ridiculed.

He's one of those guys who will use the fact that "rabid shareholders" "bombarded him with irate letters" to make his point that there is irrational exuberance in the stock/company. Attacking him only serves as evidence that people are reading his column.

He's also one of those guys that will pile on by bringing the story up repeatedly over a period of months or years just to ensure that he is eventually right.

Although it would be nice to see Ancor fight back (since Herb tends to use a company's "no comment" or failure to return his call) to his advantage as "evidence" that there is something fishy at a company, whether there is or not.

There really is no way (as I see it) to win with him, except to let the company prove him wrong.

Personally, I despise the man.
