Frank I realize you say should pick up at the end of the day but really everything above says should be go for market leaders and market is currently not treating Dell as one?

IMO if Dell shows Wall St. it has some interest in it's stock by leaning a little towards stock valuation aside from just creating a great earnings machine Wall St. will treat it like the leader it truly is. A buy back announcement would not hurt anyone even if they go ahead and split some time in the future again. They can always do a 3-for-1 if earnings pick up much more or if they get an IBM pc deal etc. The thing to do right now is treat the influential Wall St investors like they matter as share "OWNER's" instead of share holder's of the company.
