One thing that I think people need to consider is that there is ZERO,NONE,ZERO chance of this or ANY President coming on TV and saying a comet,Y2K bug or any disaster is about to hit- but with the info out there and the ability of people who read to access info on the internet I believe the gov't would hope people would be warned and at least a fair percentage prepare prudently to take strain off the system. Look how Koskinen verified the authenticity of the Navy report and there are tons of other info out there. The sad thing is too few people made even modest preparations in time and now there will be a HUGE strain on the system and the possibility of things getting ugly is real, very real. Martial law and civil unrest is very likely in major cities, Of course some won't believe this or anything without that wishful Presidential speech. The simple fact is what does anyone have to lose by preparing at least modestly ? What do people have to lose if they are too stubborn or proud to prepare ?
