Watching NOVL --- 80K shares already in premarket

We are at 24 7/8ths Bid down 3/4 from the close but up 1/2 from the after hours trading low

Expecting a heavy trading day.

On the subject of the buybacks. It is a little worrisome in that the stock will be used for options granted to management, and employee stock plans etc. It is my hope that this does not reflect the current outstanding obligation but reflects the options the may need to grant in the future.

When the company needs to acquire talent as they grow, they will need to be able dangle these benefits in front of the new employees. So my only concern here is that they are careful in handing out these rewards.

I believe this is much better for shareholders than what many tech companies are doing...If you look at the share counts of msft, csco, dell, etc, they have all ballooned over the last several years. This is because of employee options and acquisitions. I don't believe they have as favorable of a buyback program as novl...the unknown in the statement is what willl happen with sharecount if they do aquisitions as many of us think they will. This was not addressed, but would probably allow for a higher sharecount in the future anyhow
