Mike, Hi!!! RE: The writing is on the wall for Dell's price movement to reflect the stunning quarterly conference call revelations within the next 4 months (I include one more quarter to deal with the Missouri mules). What an excellent post Mike...Interesting that you find the same jubilation in the conference call...I have listened to this twice...my father is up or I would have listened to it even more...I find it amusing to "interpret" the tone of the voices when they speak...Tom really has me excited...I posted the other evening that I find it so hard to understand why anyone is selling DELL...The management has repeatedly told us where they are taking us...Many analysts tell us to buy the stock only when the numbers are there...Yes, the "Missouri Mules" is a wonderful comparison here..I know folks don't wish to run with something unless they "see" the results...I just thought the whole idea behind investing was to find what the management was doing...Planning...Find out if we should trust them from their record...Invest and then await the numbers...Tom and Michael IMO are being unusually aggressive in some of their tones and words (with regards to the rest of the year)...But, quite frankly they told us all this last Fall and during the last two conference calls...Now that the numbers for a great quarter are UP there some folks are still doubting and selling...No matter what type of market hits I can't believe that someone would not wish to buy this stock when they are conquering the world...The market share is pouring over in abundant waves to DELL...Direct is the becoming the only way to do business...And, in particular the DELL Relationships are proving to be the only way to do business...DELL is saving companies so much money these companies are stunned..Virtual Integration is a huge revenue growth builder for DELL...Their 15 years of expertise at this is for sale..I believe we will very soon find Michael hooking the world up in some manner using this as a part of the overall strategy...I've been having some fun trying to fit the puzzle pieces together and I know I'm 1,000 light years off...but, there are a ton of interesting possibilities that sure don't look like hard drives and software upgrades... :o) CHINA, BRAZIL, INDIA, EUROPE, etc...CPQ bleeding; IBM possibilities; partnering partnering partnering; ISP developments ("A Million Old Soldiers Will Fade Away"); Mike, I find it very difficult to understand why I see all these revenue growth areas and someone is still selling this stock...To me: Folks are just throwing money away when they leave a company that has a CFO that says: "What most folks haven't realized is DELL is just getting started here"...Kevin Rollins tells Bloomberg News: "Anyone that sells DELL will be sorry"...And then Mort Topfer tells us: "CHINA will be our #2 market in five years"...Finally, The CEO has proclaimed: "WE HAVE MORE OPPORTUNITIES TODAY THAN WE DID WHEN WE WERE 5% OF THE WORLD WIDE MARKET" Mike: I'm not that smart...But, seriously why are people not listening? Especially since if you listened the past ten years...You'd be riding the greatest stock of the century. I need some more money...Drew babes is trying to catch me :o) Best, Kemble
