A review of Glenn's interview from ViaVid off Raging Bull: "Good interview with GZ on Via Vid. I noticed that he begged the question of the percent of trial users that are subscribing as paying customers, but his reason was sound. While he probably should have said there are no representative numbers available as a lead in, his response was that the largest percent of trial users showed up after the last advertising push in June so they are still in the free trial period until the end of August. In short, I'll tell you when I have some representative numbers. Nonetheless, the remainder of the interview was very good and gave some very good insights on why PNLK thinks they are positioned well -- particularly for the future. GZ did mention a paradigm shift taking place where everything on the internet will not be free. I don't know if that is true, but there are certain areas where a cost benefit analysis is appropriate. For example, when you join PNLK you are in the database which is essentially advertising and all companies spend more than $300 in advertising -- even in local papers. So if any business comes in through the PNLK site, it is worth the investment -- particularly with the projected B2B explosion. GZ stated that he believed PNLK revenues will come from (in order) advertising (should increase with 1.2 million hits per month), subscription, and commission (I think the last one was commission). He also pointed out that his role in activities outside of the internet serve to enhance the PNLK credibility with the business community by demonstrating some impressive contacts (meaning the ability to open business doors in previously untapped markets). All in all, I am encouraged by what I heard. Can't put any timelines on it, but I look for some appreciation in the stock prices during the remainder of the year as the success stories (business increase primarily) become announced."
