Art, I disagree somewhat. Swissies and the Euro have also gone up against the buck. And, since Japan is the second largest economy in the world, the yen blast off is not a non event.

I think we are moving to a reserveless currency economy. That will be a disaster for the gazillion bucks held in reserve and as insurance against US trade sanctions. "Save our buck and we won't put on trade sanctions. Buy our bonds and you get MFN status." <G>
