Well, Dell obviously is a laggard today...but given the past quarter's results, and the ultra-positive forward, the stock should be well-insulated (for a change) in the 1st half of the quarter (until early October)...I wouldn't think that we get down to AND REMAIN (very long) into the 30's UNLESS: Major market meltdown.....of course, Dell would be a nice buy at any depressed price...and, I anticipate there would be heavy buying (similiar to last October) if this occurred...

Barring that.....IMO, we could still touch 38/39 in a lame (but not horrible market)....but I think buying would be intense at those levels too...simply too many upgrades and good news recently...

More likely, we will solidify in the mid-40's OR.... given the fear in the market about interest rates hikes (already priced in, IMO.....), and Y2K (Look for Dell to become a "safe haven" tech play...a company that sees no damage in the turn of the year quarter...vs. many others that are waffling)....we can get into 45-50 range...or even better during the quarter...

This should be the best quarter in quite a while for the stock....less (downside volatility), and nice upside potential...nice risk/reward...

The last two days are probably healthy..a little pullback...and then higher...maybe Monday (end of option ex) or Tuesday (Fed) will be the trigger for a further up move..

Re: "Let's see what happens after options expiration."

Don't forget options now will receive competition from two other exchanges and no doubt will be cheaper unless the stock performs next week.
