I realize it is a civil suit, but didn't want to belabor that aspect of it, since I do not know how the case law would apply. I will take your word about the breadth of interpretation. I am sure that if the suit has no standing, it will not last long. However, I am not sure from what little I know how tampering with witnesses would be regarded. Anyway, even if he were fully immunized, Waxman would still be subject to censure by the House, so there may be value merely in agitating the issue.....
