M...if I recall you numerous (pre-earnings) posts correctly...you two main points are: (1) Dell can not grow at hyper-growth (50% and above) indefinently and (2) Dell has no competitive advantage.....I think you also posted that Dell will be falling into the single digits (could be wrong)....but, for the sake of argument, let's exclude that last point........Excuse me, but neither of (first two) points are exceptional, and have been addressed and/or dismissed rather easily (and often) on this thread....again, I would encourage you to read back on some of the great dialogue we have had on the thread over past year....or read individual posters like Chuzzlewit, Jim Kelley, for a while...you should quickly get a handle on these things... I agree with you that the "higher court of history" will be our ultimate judge, but in the interim, we must judge each other on the merits of our debates....and your(s) has been superficial criticism of the REAL issues at hand (at best)....Dig a little deeper...come up with something a little better, and maybe the "sophomoric nature" of the debate will end rather quickly...actually that probably won't happen.......it gets kind of boring typing all day to people you've never seen..... talking about issues you've beaten to death...gotta spice it up a bit, you know? <G> Seriously, we've all got hammered on the thread(s) when we don't post quality, so don't take the criticism personally. It is the "raison d'etre" of this forum...to raise the level of discussion to higher/ground, real issue (at hand).. Good luck to you...It is my eternal hope that we are all winners in this (not-necessarily-mutually-exclusive) game....
