Ron,

At the moment, the market appears to be at a median point and thus it may take you a week to get to one or the other extreme. So there is some opportunity cost in waiting if you have an estimate of the trend I would guess.

Have your signals triggered a buy in on the call side? It seems like a call credit spread might have been triggered.
