FattMatt... I was forwarded your reports on OGPS... I'm disappointed.. but I have a great deal of respect for you and understand your frustrations... if you've focused on my DD or Oksteelers... you'll see that we too have a couple concerns.... 1) they have not gotten the financing yet and this is the reason you haven't seen any revenue numbers... they can't expand the business side if they dont have the working capital... my belief is that they will have this next month... so even those who dont want to invest now can always keep this thread bookmarked and check back next month and see how things look

2) significant revenue generating contracts have yet to be fully announced and begun.. this is likely from a lack of #1 ... I'm sure that there are some people out there that will do business with OGPS.. but they want to be sure the company is financially sound... that and it does take time to put things together...

Your issue about the company being in vancouver yet PRs coming out of washington is not a concern for me... their PR people are not "in-house" IR reps.. but independent.. and so far they've done a pretty good job getting the word out... when you DONT have #1 and #2 above then the only thing you can rely on is getting the word out about your company and once you do that.. you've got to produce..

many eyes are watching now and it's up to the company to deliver the numbers.. if they dont do it in a reasonable amount of time.. then it'll be time to move on for me..

There's been very little dilution here... look how the stock moves... 2million or less in the float.. and it sure acts like it... 200k can move it 30 to 40cents... at times... you should notice that some of the shares that were issued for some of the PRs were from "3rd parties" who likely bought the shares in the market and then traded them up..... I'm not positive of how the transaction worked but I've been told some interested investors who are helping with obtaining the financing were the ones who have been paying for most the PR.. either with cash or their own stock. I wish I had a little more info about this exactly but I doubt specifics would be given up..

Again, I'm focusing on the fact that really only PAID PR firms are going to pick up.. a non reporting OTC:BB that hsa yet to obtain financing to further its operations and has lost it already once before..

once they get #1 and #2 above then you will see real world PR coverage..

my question to you is:

1) If this was hype/pump/dump then how has the stock gone from 50cents to $3.50 ... settled at $2 and actually found support there and moved back up towards $3 now? On low volume too. I've seen no evidence of dumping into rallies.. nor any particular MM on the ask.. the trading itself has been very bullish.. Eventually the company WILL HAVE TO PRODUCE THE NUMBERS... we won't keep going up forever without it... but as I've posted before.. They've got til mid September to produce something that will keep me around for another 30days.. i brought this out into the spotlight at $1 and the company has not lied nor put anything out that was false... everything has checked out thus far and now the ball is in their court to produce the numbers...

you can invest and wait and possibly make a very nice return if things fall into place... or you can bookmark.. watch and invest IF and WHEN financing is obtained assuming it's $2 to $4million and favorable terms for shareholders... otherwise pass it up...

do what's right for you... it's a risk until these things are obtained.. but so far I'm VERY impressed with my decision to invest here.. the chart has been wonderful and there is good potential here.. but that's all it is for now... "potential"... and one must either invest on that.. or nothing at all..

take care... 60days ago I was wright.. I hope in 60days.. I'm right again.. your fellow investor..

jimb

(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Strong Buy)

ps.. dont be illusioned.. alot of things need to fall into place for this to be a good one to hold LONG TERM.. like for months.. but so far short term.. this one has done VERY well and has not acted like a typical pump/dump.. the chart shows that

Any idea where we sit with that financial site that was announced a while back? The one with the free real time for Canadian issues, and the alert features. Haven't heard another word about it since the news.

<EDIT> Found this update at the website:

omicrontechnologies.com

investornewz.com

Furthermore, Omicron is nearing completion of its Investor Newz financial website, which will provide for FREE real-time quotes for both U.S. and Canadian stocks, a stock alert paging/email service and a wide variety of other investment analysis tools that were previously
available only to institutional users. Investor Newz will feature a weekly stock game challenge that will allow its customers to choose a group of 5 NASDAQ or NYSE stocks ($5 or greater in share price) and the individual who has the highest return at the end of the week will win a cash prize. The value of the cash prize for each week will be based on the number of contestants who pay $10 each to enter the weekly game. Half of the total "pooled" money will be given as the cash prize each week and the other half will go to Omicron.
Gross revenues generated for the first year of the stock game challenge are projected to reach $3 Million.
