Zoltan, ( or anybody):Please clarify: was CSCO responsible ( in part ), or not responsible, of AT&T outage 4/99?

>>Makes sense, since faulty CSCO gear was the problem. All the facts leaking out of the MCI outage point to WCOM's incompetence.

Frank Ianna, AT&T's executive vice president for network and computing services clearly stated the following regarding their frame relay outage :

"And although the problem was with the software, Ianna added that AT&T's upgrade procedures were at fault. He declined to elaborate, but some observers questioned the
decision to upgrade a component on a live switch during business hours."

Not similar to the present situation where WCOM clearly blames LU for their protracted outage. LU just as clearly failed to respond adequately given the duration of the
problem - manifest incompetence.
