edamo, the history of China's development can't be compared to western countries. I gave Germany as an example to open the door that was shut by the thought "no socialist/communist form of governing has ever transitioned to free market without tremendous political instability, bordering on revolution."

China is not making moves towards capitalism to trick us western fools. This change is moving China forward in a calculated way and is not being done because it is right for Chinese people. It is being done because Communism doesn't work even for dictators. Where the progression towards a free market in China will stop is best left to Nostradomis interpreters.

Political risk is part of all international business. The only thing that will keep governments from total craziness of nationalizing businesses on a whim is that those countries that have done it paid too much with massive loss of investors. China is trying to privatize because it is the only way to compete in the world.

Political trouble in China is not on my worry list. In fact, my worry list was hit with a power shredder with this last quarterly report. I appreciate the help in trying to build it back up.
Cheers
Mike
