Andy, I use the 'automatically' setting. Must have been
default - I never touched it. No downside that I noticed.
But I don't know how that differs from 'Every visit to the
page'. Maybe it senses if there was an update and refreshes
only if there was?

The screen that has the setting choices has a little "?" in the top right corner. Click on the ? and then click on the choice that you are wondering about. This feature is called context sensitive help.

You can also check in Windows Help for some of this stuff.

I'm not trying to discourage questions, it's just that once you get started on the answer Help can fill in the details.
