hsg you asked Is it fraud to be paid to bash a stock (or to promote a stock). Answer: YES if you use lies to bash or promote. remember, all cos. have pr firms. they are responsible for what their pr firms say. if its a lie, the co. willget sued by stockholders and the sec. if the lies are used to bash or promote so that the insiders can profit, then it is criminal. Notice what happens in penny stocks. Unfortunately, there is a tremendous amount of money to be made from suckers and the sec does not go after all these criminals. ratan
