You explained your problem with Ron Reece in the one prior post you made to me.

My goldbug comment was a seperate post I made to Searle. IMHO, goldbugs weight postitive factors greater than negative factors, and always come up with a bullish conclusion. They are the ones who are having the most difficulty accepting the reality of the last three years. They are one who send me nasty email in an attempt to distract me from trying to keep my site comprehensive and objective.

I know it sounds like I am biased against "goldbugs", but they often so fanatical - screaming that "gold is money", "Y2K is the end of the world", "buy gold now" (when they are often the ones selling it at outrageous prices), "it's a vast right-wing conspiracy" (oops, sorry that was Hillary Clinton). It makes the careful analytical analysis of rational individuals that you speak about difficult to communicate through all the noise. The goldbugs may only be 10% of the gold investors, but they make 90% of the noise.
