Gladly! HP says that Merced performance compared to their
PA8500 @440 MHz chip is 90% for integer and 85% for
floating point.

Benchmark.....Athlon 650...PA4500 440...Merced
SPEC95BaseInt-----29.4---------30.7-----------27.7
SPEC95BaseFP-----22.4---------48.7-----------41.4

One can only assume that in x86 mode the Merced will be far, far slower, especially in floating point.
