Don't thank me, AMAT fell another 1/8th since my post.

What we really need is for Mark Haines to sell his shares. ;-)

Ian.

Gottfried and Tito, I am half cash having made sufficient gains. Looking at the past, I expect at least a 50% selloff from the highs of $79 15/16 if the past cycles is any indication of what will happen which would take us into the $40ish range. I honesty believe, reality or not, that the Y2K also makes investors uneasy.

Observation. It appears that when AMAT hit the $75 dollar range that it hits a plateau. If it stays in a trading range with high volume, in the future, we better beware.

I'll be happy when we can enter this data into our artificial intellent computer with models which can assist us in buying and selling.<gg> But, half the fun will be lost.:)

Just my opinions.

Paul
