Well I've read the bible from cover to cover and I've never read anything about oil in Israel or a gentile finding any hidden wealth there. I also know a little about drilling and have been told by an oil man here on SI that a well that deep is not possible.

Great post, Janice. One thing all the "investors" seem to be overlooking (seeing as the object of any investment over the long-term is to make a few bucks - otherwise just give your money away) is the quote by Hayseed

Indeed, Mr. Stephens says he will give the profits from any oil discovery to Israel. "I will deliver the nation from economic bondage," he said in a recent telephone interview.

How do investors plan to make any money? I'm sure Hayseed will pay himself, his wife and others a lovely salary, overrides on production and other incentives, but how will stockholders make anything if he plans to give away all the profits? It sure does sound nice, though.
