KPI is spotty--some sellers provide the count, some don't. More experienced sellers will provide the kpi, and show the weave with a ruler against it.

Re: child abuse.I honestly don't know the particulars of the work habits of nomadic weavers, but am guessing children are required to work as much as is needed to keep the family economically viable.

I wouldn't call helping out in the family business "abuse," although I suppose there is a web site somewhere that you will find that details how horrible it really is. But, is it any worse than sending the kids to school eight hours a day? You could say that violates child labor laws, too, as it is work, of a sort. We think of it as beneficial, because they are learning things they need to know in order to make a living. See the parallels here, or do I need to spell them out?
