jim, for the bears to still have a case of sorts we need to turn down hard on monday - if we don't the next buying panic is all but assured. i know full well it's a mania and unsustainable in the long run, but betting against it seems not to produce any tangible results, the period from the july top to the recent low excepted. now today may well have been entirely options-related and prove to be a fluke come monday. but note that stock markets all over the world were up sharply today, so we're not looking at an isolated phenomenon here . the Dow could see a new high on monday already if this keeps up. my only consolation today was my long position in AR...
