That article got me thinking, AOL is screwed either way, in terms of broadband. If they roll out a broadband offering they will not be able to service or setup all those users (18mil) any faster than ATHM (lots of disgruntled users with the perfect forum for complaining). If they don't offer broadband the Street will continue to dis them, hence the market cap will continue to shrink. If they hurry up and put it out there too fast they risk listening to the above example. Meanwhile those with a steady and flawless deployment will pick off the top demographics.
