wireless companies would be better off spending money bringing wideband service to areas already well covered by cellular, than trying to provide blanket coverage to low pop density regions. Especially if they can make money selling G* service there.

The broadband wireless competition in densely populated urban areas is definitely a trend which favors G*. Let the cell carriers spend their limited resources and fight it out in the urban areas, delay the build-out moving out from these areas, and give G* a better chance to get to the 2nd/3rd generations with a much lower cost/minute. Thanks for your 60:1 calculations. djane
