Check the pcln thread... people are finally getting down to the issues with pcln revenue recognition. Apparently when they book a flight or hotel room they are recognizing revenue on the total cost of the flight, etc. vs. just the incremental difference in pricing. I guess that would be like ebay considering the total $$ amount of all auctions as revenue. Hmmm its a pretty fine line, resellers buy goods and sell them and consider the entire $$ as revenue, priceline is the same model except virtual I suppose...?
