The price of the PIII 500 has dropped $120 since Aug. 11.

The price of the PIII 550 has dropped $100 since the same date.

ALL K6-2s available to purchase are $81 and below. Actually, the 450 and below are selling for $54 and below. I am beginning to wonder if the mid-$50s ASP target Jerry said to expect is a little high, unless AMD is acutually making and selling the K6-III.

petz : How much for the motherboards?

MSI costs about $210 (fl.439,- in guilders)

wich is quite high, compared to Abit and Asus BX boards...
But prices probably will drop when Biostar and Fic become
available in quantity. MSI knows they can price their boards high, because they are the only ones who (seem to ...) havo large amounts of them available.

greets, michael.
