This is good stuff. It sounds like it is from the prospectus for the JNPR public offering. If so, why not identify the source as such? And maybe put it in brackets or something?

Hi Wes,
Cisco does outsource a great deal of the manufacturing of its routers and other products.

Cisco builds all of their routers in house.

I think you should investigate this statement a bit more.. ;)

wes,

but many depend on outsourcing now...and this field will grow even more so...most tech. co's do not want to manufactor or design small electronic parts anymore...thats why solectron will do very well in the future...they are growing at 50% per yr...even cisco uses solectron for alot of outsourcing...they can route orders directly to solectron and many of cisco's customers dont have a clue where its coming from...so its not just jnpr being vulnerable to co's like solectron and flextronics...in the future, more and more smaller electronic parts will be made by co's like solectron and not from co's like cisco,HP,IBM and etc.
