I've seen that occur on many Win98 boxes, and I was similarly stumped for an answer. Maybe someone will show up with one.

you're running ie5.0, right? happens with netscape too, so it's probably not a browser-specific thing. i did just post the question on the netscape newsgroup board anyway. maybe i'll hear back.
