"I homesteaded many years ago down on Dell acres. Started with a herd of 40 calves back in '93 when they were selling for less than a buck. Herd seemed to double each year at weaning time.
Built the Dell herd up to way over 6500 last spring, along with a bunch of unbranded strays, so when weaning time came on March 7th the place got overgrazed. Then the plague struck with a bit of pestilence
so I lost a few head. Things have improved a lot recently and it looks like a good year ahead."

Just one word of caution, there are tornado warnings out...caused by
