And my real problem is that I consider Fica a reverse-robin hood tax. I know there are studies that show the lower classes benefit more from SS, but not if you measure it against the potential gains of investing the same money. Wealthy and those that have passive income pay no fica and that is really unfair. Of course forbes' plan changes the entire fica scenario and thats what I liked about it.
