Luckily, one of the things I don't worry about with CW is being clingy.
WHile I weep and wail and moan here (I tend to be an over-emoter in writing, but not in person), I am the picture of maternal stability in the flesh. He has been "on his own" in the poolhouse for a year, and in retrospect, that seems to have been a very sound move (you know, all these decisions are such guesses when you make them).

All this emotional upheaval, and there is definitely a lot of it, is taking place quietly behind the scenes. But what can you do? This is the right time, he is ready, we have done our job, it's the next natural step..

So I'm one step closer to the grave, so I have no purpose in life anymore, so my children are moving on without me....
Pass the bottle.
