Comeon now, Brian, you think Michael Armstrong came out clean because
his leadership? Think again!

The day CSCO/STRM equipment has upgrade failure, CSCO/STRM technical
people showed up there figured out problem and helped AT&T restored
the network in one day. This allowed Mr. Armstrong looked very good.
In fact, the problem could be blamed in both way. On the one hand, it
was the upgrade procedure not followed accurately. The software has
a bug in it which caused the OEM cell multiplies.

The bottom line was CSCO help AT&T isolated problem and fixed it in
one day. Then, the rest was PR.

See the tragedy of LU/WCOM event is the problem solved as the result
of removal of new software. LU and WCOM point finger at each other.
The thing is not done, stay tune. The victim is going to ask for
compensation. Who's going to end up paying it is still remain to be
seen. How this going to affect the relationship between LU and ASND
is something investor has to look out. Chamber may be right this time.
