(way off topic) Black Hole Caught Eating Matter and New Bunny

To catch the death cry...unique X-ray signal from superheated iron atoms
can whirl around at speeds of up to one third of the speed of light warms
up things beyond "red" or "white" hot -- all the way to X-ray hot, from the
edge of oblivion. "Once you go past that edge," ... "that's the end."

Detected tiny changes in Earth's gravity during a total solar eclipse.
Combined Foucault pendulums with much more sensitive devices called
"superconducting gravimeters" to simultaneously measure gravity both
inside and outside the path of the eclipse.

<<I'am wondering about all those things Ron Reece
has posted about a gold standard hindering a nations money
supply, >>

Doug,

While Ron is a rather sharp guy, you should be advised - those things he posts concerning the Gold Standard are HIS OPINION! They should not be considered fact or gospel. I myself, do not see the time most nations of the world will return to the Gold Standard, but there is a valid Opinion
on the other side of the issue -remember here, these are issues and opinions, not hard cold fact.

May I recommend for the other side of the issue, you also look into an article written by Alan Greenspan(YES, the same one) in "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal.

Written by Ayn Rand - Signet Books 1st print - Library of Congress card #:66-26772

Get the paperback issue as there is more there than in the early.

This though may not be the correct place to discuss the concept of a Gold Standard, I'll start a new thread soon for that sole purpose.

Remember, Ron may be right, he may be wrong, History has shown gold works, but not well. But then, is the current system "perfect"?
