Only idiots play the whiney monopoly card.>> true...but other companies, the ones who use micro processors, would not like being subject to intc's will as an only source....IBM has already realized this..I think the govt lawsuit against MSFT has made more people aware of monopolistic problems..... monopoly is not a "whiney card" competition/capitalism is the american way...and other companies will, IMHO, do all they can to keep AMD afloat to avoid a millieum of intc monopoly...I imagine you realize that competitive capitalism produces a better situation for the consumer.....better product and better service.. I don't want to get too personal will you...but look at your own attitude.....it's not exactly a good one towards other people..an you are sort of an unofficial spokesman for INTC. could you build on the positive side of yourself in your postings & work of trashing the negative the negative side?..we all have to struggle with this in life.. Putting others down is very easy trap to fall into; you have plenty of company paul....that dynamic is the basis for racial hatred and bigotry..one of the serious basic sins...it's a way of creating &feeding off other's misery to enhance one's own ego. The Romans reached the epitomy here with the gladiators, lions , etc...eventually that trashed Rome itself.......... INDEED, it is a losing path in life...contributes to spiritual oblivion..but how you look at this, I don't know....perhaps you are only focusing on whether you can take all your INTC knowledge %profits with you on that path or perhaps you just have difficulty being nice on the thread.. The truth of the above is written in many places/many religions&philosophy...Christ emphasized it by stating that of the 10 commandments 2 are far & away the most important...one of those is to love thy brother....At least the pain & suffering in life (which I see a lot of)does force mankind to need each other ...perhaps this is so important as to cause the need for pain & suffering to exist at all. well paul...thanks for you replies..it's good to hear from you once & a while...you've been silent since you saw me make a killing on ADIC ...i'm sure you've done very well on INTC also.....I gather you are a market maker..or something like that...it would indeed be challenging to walk a straight & narrow path in such an atmosphere......
