Bill,
Hi!!!

RE: You are right...the lake gets bigger all the time. BUT, the price has not reflected this at all. Oh, we had a nice earnings report....so what it get us? Stock went down after initial runup.
Was there a good reason for that? I hope so because I am long and want to stay that way.

Great question and no reason why most folks wouldn't ask this...Although I can't believe people haven't been reading this thread...I surely don't claim to know it all but I have seen a definite change in the "plans" DELL is making...I have mentioned that it takes a great period of time planning for great plans...The previous two quarters...4th and 1st...WELL, no question that this was a strategy and planning (turning) where DELL targeted the direct method attempts of CPQ...I firmly believe we "lost 2cents" in the last report due to the aggressive pricing and "destroy CPQ at all cost"...If you'd remember...Michael mentioned when confronted of CPQ's entry into Direct with: "WE FIND THIS VERY AMUSING"...I know I have dreams and dreams and dreams...Yes...I get carried away sometimes..but, certainly I would be attempting to destroy any competition...and if there was low hanging fruit I'd surely pick that...CPQ going "direct" IMO was just that...
Couple this with a possible IBM related deal that would absolutely hand DELL a run into the technology future with nothing nothing nothing to stop them conquering every contract the choose to target...
Now, the ISP and DELLNET are another area that has me flying high with dreams...the possibilities are limitless with those premier pages...the potential revenue growth is staggering...I do believe very strongly that Michael Dell is hooking up the world...He has spoken of his "NIRVANA" and if you read between the lines and have any idea what this "boy" wanted to do you should be able to figure out he is not exactly 75 years old and waiting for retirement...
These and a thousand other ideas fly around in my head...I can't help having them...I have repeatedly told everyone I know that DELL management tells ya where you're going..The smart investors have BOUGHT DELL and gone to sleep...I obviously believe that Tom Meredith's words to me at the shareholders meeting are true: "What most folks haven't figured out is DELL is just getting started in here"..
In my opinion...If you're smart and have any $$$ under the mattress...BUY DELL Monday...

Best, Kemble
