Meanwhile, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette analyst Kevin McCarthy said Micron Technology's (MU: news, msgs) 64Mb DRAM price rose 50 cents to $8.10 in Taiwan Tuesday, while the price of "unbranded DRAM" went up 65 cents since Friday to $7.50.

McCarthy said he expects orders for brands such as Micron and Hyundai to increase over the next few days, while "supply of unbranded DRAM grows tighter."
