Edwarda:

As I stated in my previous post:

>>>But frankly the information you provided in an earlier post re: paper producers and HON sounded more anecdotal than substantive (which may not be the case.)

You never indicated you observed first hand any of the paper plant operations or that the companies provided you with data on their systems, only that you "checked," whatever that means in whatever capacity.

We have a problem here since you decline to disclose what you "do." Your drop hints like bombs but, evade the issue entirely. You continue to make broad based claims re: embedded systems/y2k/industry readiness/contingency planning (what have you,) yet provide nothing substantive we can reference

The give and take on this board when making claims or pronouncements has always been to the best of my recollection, "Put up or shut up."

Some posters decline, some demure, some become infuriated that anyone would question their self-delcared authority on a subject, some get in there, roll with the punches and back-up their claims with either documentable, verifiable or substantive information. When the latter occurs we as a group are all the better for it. "Believe me because I say so," has never much worked with this group unless the individual has a recognzed reputation (David Eddy for example.)

Re: this--
>>>What are you and Cheryl, the Rover Boys? <<<

I'm not familiar with the Rover Boys. But over time I've noticed that Cheryl and I tend to asked the same sort of questions for the same reasons.

Talk about your gratuitous cracks!
