I'm not an expert in ERICY but I dont think that this would be the time that they would consider breaking up the company. The infrastructure division provides the largest percentage of revenues and as 3G is coming on-line, their will be huge contracts up for bid. I would expect that Ericsson would do well here. The division which has failed them has been their handset division....however the new line of phones (T-28) was just introduced this past week. I havent looked at the spec's closely but it looks competitive.

As for overlays of CDMA in Europe, the same issue comes to mind. There must be a CDMA/GSM phone in order for this to work. Europeans have come to expect pan-European roaming, I dont expect that they would settle for less. One other thing, AT&T has had well publiczed capacity problems....I havent read on article about the equivalent being true in Europe.
