That is interesting. I take it as another sign that US West is, indeed, quicker at their rollout of ADSL than the other ILECs, since they seem to be the primary user (and maybe even the only user) of Cisco DSL routers. BEL, SBC, and BLS seem to use Alcatel primarily, judging from recent posts in comp.dcom.xdsl (although some older BEL installations used Westell customer-premises equipment).
