I'm one step ahead of you HJ! I've already read that article. It didn't tell me what I really needed to know though, which is what were the real issues with rev recognition at pcln, I had to discover that from the yahoo msg board! There may be nothing to that btw.

Actually, I don't have much against pcln. I have thought for a long time that travel is an awesome space, and it is very fragmented - there is no Amazon of travel. If priceline takes travel then they will do great long term. The problem is I don't think that is assured and their mkt cap is too high. But, trading pcln is hellish because its such an obvious short for the inut haters I'll bet it ends up rallying here.

I have never liked auctions and that might be why I don't care for pcln. But I have been wrong on that, auctions have been great investments and I've missed the whole thing - however there are so many opportunities in the sector I'm ok, I like a lot of stuff here.

BTW ariba is a great trading stock, whoever was trading pcln you might want to look at arba. I don't like it long term though.
