I assume a gradually declining sub growth rate based on the "Law of big number".

I agree if you're speaking of percentage growth rate, not absolute numbers. For example, a 20% growth rate for 1m subs equals 200k new subs, but a 10% growth rate for 2m subs also equals 200k new subs. I fully expect Excite@Home to carry an install back log for years to come, thus limiting new subs primarily by the speed at which new cable can be laid. Milo et.al will have a solution for congestion slowdown by the time it becomes a major factor.

I also see an AOL/ATHM/ATT alliance as inevitable. Too much is at stake for it not to happen. Thus the AOL sub base integrates with the existing ATHM sub base and- well, you do the math.

Jing, IMO the uncertainty surrounding ATHM and the "forced access" issues as well as reported friction among the partners are growing pains, typical of most large corporations experiencing explosive growth. I have stated before, and will do so again, for the record- this is a buying opportunity. I have added to my position at these levels and will continue to do so. Regards
