I thought you were talking about man's right to dominion, and I was quibbing over the definition of dominion. There are many, some on this thread, who think that having dominion gives them the right to do whatever they want, no matter how destructive the consequences. Speaking of which, I heard on NPR yesterday that peregrine falcons were just taken off the endangered species list, as there are estimated to be 1600 nesting pairs in the U.S. now. They were almost wiped out due to DDT.
