Thank you Rande for the helpful info and links on charity organizations. I appreciate your point of view and like yourself, I contribute regularly to missions organizations and the Salvation Army. (Just my own preference.) [sermon mode on] I would encourage everyone reading this thread that can afford to, to consider giving to those in need. Our family has been blessed in countless ways (in ways much more important than financial), and I can give witness to the fact that giving to those in need, adds to the blessings that we as givers receive. But do yourselves a favor and those that are the intended recipients of your gifts - do check out and verify where your gifts are going and how they are allocated.
