You know what I want? I want you to wave your magic wand and cast a spell so that I am energized enough to get off my fat butt and do all the things that need to be done around here. Can you do that for me, please? Hmmm? And, while you're at it, could you please do something about the fat butt, for me? Just on the off chance that you can, thought I'd ask. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I had to read that twice before I got it. One of mine needs to go on a diet actually. I think we will do it together. I just had such a fun day. My grandfather was an artist and left me a ton of wonderful wood carvings. He lived in Hawaii and Carmel when he carved them. He must have had the hots for the Island women because most of them are naked Island women in some form. Some are free standing and some are wall hanging types. They are all very nice and cost a pretty penny when he had them in galleries. Anyway, when I got them I had to change my decor. They don't go with antiques I thought. BUT what they do go with are 1940s Hawaiian influenced art. I just had a ball going to all the funky old antique stores in Alameda, Oakland and Hayward. This is a blast. I have a purpose!!! I get a tad carried away.
