They had a major outage, multiple days, where LU equipment was involved, and the wcom management (Eggers) handled
it very poorly, blaming LU, etc. Kind of like the ebay situation. I'm not really up on it but there is a lot about it on the cisco
thread. I do feel when management gets up and loudly complains about a vendor ("its all their fault") it makes me feel
they are not in control.

I do not believe the frame relay problem was the cause. There have been downward revisions based on reduced residential long distance revenue. Friday culminated in the revision of FON's earnings to the downside for the same reason. The frame relay issue did not cost WCOM MUCH MONEY AND I DOUBT THEY WOULD LOSE MANY CUSTOMERS ON IT. sorry for the caps hit it by error:-( T had a similar problem a few monnths ago but T did correct it more quickly. Note that LVLT was up on Friday but they have no residential long distance customers. FON was down 10% on Friday.
