There are other strategies that you should consider. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. The problem with it is that you can get called away at any time, not necessarily at the options expiry. If the stock dips to 65 you breakeven. If the stock goes up, you lose since you wont be part of the gain on your 100 shares of the common. The only thing you accomplish is getting 15 points on the sale. But if the stock falls at all, your 15 points fall with it. The calls are cheap now since it seems the volatility is lessening. Look at 2002 leaps if you like the stock. Very reasonable.
