The only conflicts I have are...

as you pointed out in your previous post...it is actually the strong US corporations and their growth that have driven the US/world economies thru production gains and globalization.

an 8 year bull market w/ no recession? How does that happen? Never before... this last correction or current depending how your looking at it...is signaling a change....one current conflict...is the exceptional Q3 and Q4 gains that are forecast for '99... since the US corporations are leading this growth...what lies ahead as foreign markets gain and currencies strengthen? The markets are forward looking....balancing is inevitable....The US has won all economic cold wars and will maintain it's dominance for the foreseeable future...corrections will continue to balance the environment...that doesn't say we stop moving forward.....connectivity and information has arrived.....resources and the high frontier will still be fought over in economic terms...growth is inevitable
