Vendit to add to your post, revenue being the name of the game, it is the business person's dollars that businesses are after. The airlines, phone companies, hotels etc. all target the business person. The business person on the other hand is looking for greater comfort and convenience during a business trip (larger rooms and double rooms, free breakfast etc.)

And now via the Internet (wireless/satellite offcourse), the business person armed with a laptop and AOL wireless can check e-mail and conduct business while waiting at the airport, hotel lobby and in some cases even in traffic jams. No more hunting around for a broadband hookup or as we currently do go looking for a phone jacket in the wall.

Just think how powerful AOL wireless will be and whether a free ISP (MSFT included) can provide this convenience to a business person.

Vendit

I noticed that on Friday (options expiration) AOL closed a tad below the 95 mark. But in after hours it crossed the 95 mark and closed a tad higher.

It was significant that when all the other leading Internets (AMZN, YHOO, EBAY, DCLK CMGI etc.) moved higher on Friday, AOL was holding steady around the 95 mark. It continued to trade afterhours and move higher whereas the other Internets did not trade after hours (someone please confirm that since my QUOTE.COM is not reliable)

The afterhour activity in AOL on Friday indicates that AOL may move higher at the open on Monday and close past or close to 100.

Any thoughts on the peculiar trading of AOL on Friday day and after hours.
