I hesitate to respond because I promised that all MBI investors would not hear from me till MBI was below $2.00. It is no at that level yet but will be soon.
Fo memory sake I was a MBI investor and I got out 2 yrs ago but I still watch as a matter of interest. I STILL MAINTAIN that IF MBI had anything of substance a Pharm co would have joined with MBI. This has not happened and I am sure some have smelled around and decided that they did not like the smell. All MBI investors got sold down the river with the last sold deal. The salaries are far too high,,all in all not a happy investment. Watch for the next announcement that they are developing a new kitchen and bathroom cleaner to compete with MR. Clean.
I know I will piss off a lot of MBI investors but that is what a pubic forum will do from time to time.
I will do my best not to get involved again until MBI hits >2.00 but the sold deal and wages pissed me off.

Which of the four pharmaceutical companies, with acne drugs in development, do you prefer? Do you think they will capture the entire market?

Labonden, I wish I bought all my shares at $2.00. But I did not. Anyway on page 16 of annual report,it states,

"Enhancins: Restoring the Effectiveness of Traditional Antibiotics

One component of our research is focused on enhancins. We have completed numerous in vitro studies showing that enhancins improve the performance of existing antibiotics. This past year, researchers from Micrologix presented three papers at the Annual Interscience Conference on Agents and Chemotherapy, a leading world conference on antibiotics, showing the ability of four Enhancin peptides to to restore the antibioticial activity of eight antibiotics against clinical isolates of multidrug-resistant bacteria. These organisms included methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant Entercoccus (VRE) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We are currently evaluating Enhancins for use in important systyemic disease targets. Our Enhancins represent a significant partnering opportunity for pharmaceutical companies seeking to extend the life of their patents and or restore the effectiveness of their antibiotics against drug-resistant organisms."

MBI is still working on enhancins. The opportunity for MBI 226 is a fast way to get a drug on the market and a cash flow. Topical drugs are a lot faster to take through trails. Enhancins will come and they will be worth a lot of money to MBI and their share holders. Hang on the best is yet to come.

Labonden, If you do not have the annual report , call the company and see if you can get one. MBI has a lot of things happening. They are not just a one drug company. I was told a long time age do not buy a research company that has just has one drug. I would think MBI has about 200 hundred drugs to chose from.

Labondem I think the best plan for this stock is to forget about it for 5 to 10 years. Only problem, if some newspaper wrote the right news article this could be explosive. I do not think that would be good for the companies long term growth. I still think this could be a $100 stock. I have been just as frustrated as you about the slow progress but I think that is going to change. Time will tell.
