Some thoughts on our euphoria on this thread over Q:

1: If we were in a time warp, and could apply the tools we are using to analyze Q to the 1988 to 1990 period, would we come up with the same conclusion about softie and Cisco? I think so. If you remember the period, softie was much less of an apparent lock that Q is today.

1: Where are all the posts from Q haters? Think of all the crap we have put up with on the MSFT and CSCO thread from engineers who know that their company is going to knock them off. Tero was gone from the Q thread the minute that Ericsson settled. We really don't see any opposition, other than the time involved to switch over, and the resistance to this lasting as long as possible. What does this indicate?

(Sorry guys, my posts are a little short right now, I blew my shoulder out last week doing aerials, and it hurts to type!)

Frank, et al,
Group Think is, in fact, a dangerous concept. And, as stated there is no better exapmple than the Bay og Pigs.

One thing that all good posters avow, however, is that we are all responsible for our own decisions and must accept the responsibility to do our DD.

I have been receiving emails about joining the class action suits against NEON but have declined to do so because I am trying hard to accept that it was my own decision that led to my loss and no one else.

This thread has had great two way diologue on most stocks. And, at times you have posted alternative views on Qualcom. But, it appears that even the mainstream is beginning to see that this is a long time winner that is emerging from the shadows to enjoy status as a key technology stock.

Let's hope we are all correct and that if we are guilty of "Group Think" it will work to our advantage. In the meantime we need to be diligent and look for every flaw and any actions that could turn the situation negative.

IMHO.
